Janet Maslin of The New York Times wrote that the film "has three suitably grisly ideas that are only glancingly developed. The episodes are marginally interesting, but each is a little too long. And each could be fully explained in a one-sentence synopsis."[9] Todd McCarthy of Variety panned the film as an "omnibus snoozefest which is utterly lacking in chills or thrills," with all three stories "so deficient in imagination and scare quotient they wouldn't pass as even satisfactory episodes on a tv show like Amazing Stories or The Twilight Zone."[10] Kevin Thomas of the Los Angeles Times called the film "a cut-rate sequel from those two popular masters of horror, Stephen King and George Romero, that plays like leftovers. Fans of both deserve better."[11] Richard Harrington of The Washington Post wrote that the film "goes nowhere slowly. Part of the problem is that King's short stories simply work better in print."[12] Allmovie awarded 1.5 stars out of 5 in a retrospective review and stated: "Despite its strengths -- a livelier pace, some creatively gory set-pieces -- this is a much cheaper-looking effort than its predecessor, with the deft guidance of Romero conspicuously absent (long-time collaborator Michael Gornick took up the directorial reins); as a result, King's gross-out sensibilities don't come off as well."[13]

Sammo Hung was announced as part of the cast in April 2009. Apart from serving as the film's martial arts choreographer, Hung appears as Hung Chun-nam,[9][12] a master of the southern Chinese martial art of Hung Ga.[7] In August 2009, it was announced that Huang Xiaoming would be playing Wong Leung, a supporting character based on Wong Shun Leung, one of Ip Man's disciples and the person responsible for mentoring Bruce Lee.[1] Former child star Ashton Chen was also announced to be playing a disciple.[9] Veteran actor Kent Cheng also has a supporting role in the film.[13] To Yu-hang, who had a supporting role in the first film, appears in the sequel as a different character named Cheng Wai-kei. Cheng is a gang leader practicing Hung Ga, who decides to exact revenge on Wong after Wong defeats Cheng in a fight.[14] Wilson Yip commented on the casting of the veteran actors as being "a form of tribute to old school kungfu movies."[15]

Main article: Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance MissionChōji made his Part II début shortly after Naruto returned from successfully rescuing Gaara. Like most of the Rookie Nine, he had reached the chūnin rank. Chōji had also improved his skills during the time-skip, and was now able to enlarge various parts of his body without much concentration. His reaction time had also increased, being able to immediately prevent an attack by Sai from harming Shikamaru or Naruto.

Just kidding. The turtlenecks are the best part this movie. If there's one thing that gets more and more fun with each re-watching of "Love Actually," it's pointing and subsequently ranking every turtleneck worn throughout the film. BuzzFeed did the "Definitive Ranking of All the Turtlenecks in 'Love Actually'" back in 2013 and it's a must-read.

It is in that story that I find the problem and my struggle with being a music lover and a music consumer. I have a full-time job. I am not a highly recognized artist and don't really care if I get paid for writing or performing. I play locally and for friends and family. It is one of my passions in life and I do it for personal growth. What I do understand is that the musicians and writers that do make a living through their art are also my friends. I think most of them are well aware just what they are up against when they take part in this market and most are grateful for what compensation, no matter how little, they are afforded. I see them struggle to make ends meet for their families and are away from them for weeks when touring. At times, even their extended family pitch in to help them make it because they believe in them as artists. They find fullfillment in their words and music, just as I do.
